About me

Amsterdam-based multidisciplinary designer. Blending brand and UX/UI to prototype future services that just make sense.

I am a UX/UI designer who thinks beyond the brief, who jumps easily from digital to physical, who fidgets with brand, product, and technological ideas where needed. A UX/UI designer who thinks along, reframes problems, understands ecosystems.

My approach to design

Dare

The courage to design radically new solutions.

Reusable rockets were a paradigmatic change in a world where boosters were considered single-use devices. We are too used to the comfort of the status quo, that we forget to dream of dramatically different ways to solve a problem.

Envision

Moving from the future, backward.

Future-backward, not present-forward. The brightest concepts and ideas come to life when we walk back from an ideal world. This mindset jumps past current cultural and technical constraints, and helps me envision roadmaps to get there.

Network

Collaboration is a design tool.

Resist the temptation to single-handle the problem at hand. Think collaboratively with other companies, entities, communities, or users who could help in bringing a proposition to the market.

Build

Don't strategize: build.

A picture is worth a thousand words. A prototype is worth a thousand pictures. Quickly-crafted artefacts and prototypes communicate a strategy better than a hundred slides.
